Income tax refund
The Tax Department issues tax refunds to eligible taxpayers who have paid more in taxes than they owe, whether through Advance Tax, Self-Assessment Tax, TDS, or TCS. After assessment, the department calculates the tax by considering all relevant exemptions and deductions. Refunds are processed once the taxpayer electronically verifies the form.
