Income tax department has issued latest FAQs on filing of returns for people facing any issues. Income Tax Return is referred to as ITR. It is a regulated form that is used to inform the Income-tax Department of the specifics of an individual's income received during a financial year and the taxes that were paid on that income.

Additionally, it permits carrying over losses and requesting a reimbursement from the income tax division. For filing returns for varied Status and Nature of income, multiple forms of income returns are required.
