State Bank of India (SBI) has informed customers that OTP and SMS-based services on its YONO platform are currently facing intermittent disruptions. The bank said the issue is temporary and services are expected to be restored.

In a social media post on X (formerly Twitter), SBI stated that users of the YONO application may experience difficulties while completing transactions that require OTP or SMS authentication during this period.


When will SBI services be resumed?

As per the SBI social media post, the issue is temporary and services are expected to be restored by 5:45 PM on April 17, 2026.


YONO users are requested to use our other digital banking channels during this period.
On April 16, 2026 the bank faced similar intermittent issues in OTP/SMS-based services in YONO.
