PM Kisan eKYC deadline is July 31: Here's how to complete eKYC online, offline

The eKYC deadline for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana will end soon. The deadline for completing e-KYC is July 31, 2022. Beneficiaries who have not completed the e-KYC process should do so as soon as possible.

According to the PM Kisan website, “Deadline of eKYC for all the PMKISAN beneficiaries has been extended till 31st July 2022,".

What is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi?

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a Central Sector Scheme that would offer income support to all landholding farmer families in the country to augment their financial needs for agricultural and associated inputs, as well as home needs. The whole financial burden for transferring benefits to designated beneficiaries will be met by the Government of Indonesia under the Scheme.


As per the website, “eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. OTP Based eKYC is available on PMKISAN Portal or nearest CSC centres may be contacted for Biometric based eKYC.”

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Here's how to update eKYC online

Step 1: Visit official website of PM-Kisan https://pmkisan.gov.in/NewHome3.aspx
Step 2: Click on eKYC option available on right side of the page
Step 3: Enter Aadhaar card number, captcha code and click on search
Step 4: Enter the mobile number linked with the Aadhaar card
Step 5: Click on 'Get OTP' and enter the OTP in the specified field

Your PM Kisan Ekyc will be successful if the information there matches Aadhaar, and the kyc update will be finished.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Here's how to update eKYC offline at CSC

Step 1: Visit your nearest CSC Center.
Step 2: Submit Aadhar Update in PM Kisan Account
Step 3: Enter your biometrics to login
Step 4: Update Aadhar Card Number and Submit the form.
Your phone will now display Confirmation as an SMS.

However, note that CSC may charge for the services, make sure to check before submitting for eKYC.
