PM Kisan 14th Installment: This step mandatory to receive next installment

Eligible farmers are eagerly waiting for the 14th installment, the date of disbursal will be announced soon by the government. The beneficiaries of PM Kisan received 13th installment on February 26, 2023.

Note that the payment of the next 14th installment under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be made in an Aadhaar and NPCI linked bank account. So, you should make sure that your account is Aadhaar and NPCI linked bank account.

According to the DBT agriculture Bihar website, “Payment of upcoming 14th installment under PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is to be done in Aadhaar and NPCI linked bank account. The Government of India has authorized the Department of Posts to link Aadhaar and NPCI to the bank account of the beneficiaries, so you should contact the nearest post office and open a new (DBT Enabled) account in the India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) without delay, otherwise you will be deprived of the next installment. Will remain deprived.”

What is the meaning of seeding Aadhaar number in NPCI mapper?

It is a process by which on the basis of written consent submitted by the customer the bank (after linking the Aadhaar number to the account in Core banking) updates NPCI mapper, according to the NPCI.

How to check which bank account is seeded for direct transfer benefit

Step 1: Visit https://resident.uidai.gov.in/bank-mapper
Step 2: Enter details
Step3: Your latest bank account details that is NPCI mapped will display.

How to link bank account to NPCI

Step 1: submit the consent form with all necessary information in either physical or electronic form to bank, post office.
Step 2: In case of moving Aadhaar number from one bank to another bank, the customer should provide the name of the bank from which the Aadhaar is being moved.
Step 3: In case of physical form, the consent form should be duly signed as per the bank records.
Step 4. After seeding is completed the customer may approach their Gas service provider (Oil Marketing Company) for the pending subsidy amount.

The branch will then connect the customer's Aadhaar number to their account and to NPCI Mapper after verifying the submitted details. The NPCI Mapper will show the Aadhaar number.

If after providing the bank with all necessary documentation, the Aadhaar number does not appear in NPCI Mapper, the bank is responsible for taking action. In such case one can raise the grievance and report the matter.

Customers can link only one account with Aadhaar at any point of time. Note that if customer gives consent to multiple banks then subsidy will be credited to the last seeded Bank with which the status is active in NPCI mapper.

Also, it is mandatory for the beneficiaries to get eKYC done for the 14th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, otherwise they will be deprived of the benefits of the scheme.
