New senior citizen bank account with doorstep banking and healthcare benefits launched by Bank of Baroda; Know the details

Bank of Baroda has launched a premium savings account called bob Senior Citizen Vishesh Samman and this is available only for those senior citizens maintaining a monthly average balance (MAB) of Rs 1 lakh.

This premium savings account offers healthcare benefits and doorstep banking services. Some of the key features include free online doctor consultations (for up to 6 family members), discounts on medicines and diagnostics, and two complimentary doorstep banking services per month.

Additionally, the offering includes concessions on reverse mortgage loans, locker rentals, and a RuPay Select debit card with lifestyle benefits, positioning it as a comprehensive solution tailored for senior citizens.


In a press release dated April 22, 2026 Bank of Baroda said that this account is tailored exclusively for customers aged 60 years and above, with a focus on enhancing their overall health and financial well-being.

• 50% waiver on processing charges for reverse mortgage loan
• 20% discount on locker charges up to Rs 500
• Free NEFT and RTGS transactions and 50% waiver on IMPS transactions
