Is it a bank holiday on October 26, 2022? State-wise list of bank holidays
Many banks will also be closed on the account of Diwali. Banks will be closed for three days in a row in most of the states (Saturday, Sunday and Monday). It is a bank holiday in some states on October 26.

On October 24, Monday banks were closed on the occasion of Kali Puja/Deepavali/Diwali (Laxmi Pujan)/Naraka Chaturdashi in all states in India except Sikkim, Telangana, and Manipur
The next day after Diwali, i.e; October 25 (Tuesday), marks Laxmi Puja. Banks will remain closed in Sikkim, Manipur, Telengana and Rajasthan.
On October 26 i,e Wednesday banks will be closed for Govardhan Pooja/Vikram Samvant New Year Day/Bhai Bij/Bhai Duj/Diwali (Bali Pratipada)/Laxmi Puja/Accession Day in these states Gujarat, Maharastra, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Srinagar.
On the occasion of Bhaidooj/Chitragupt Jayanti/Laxmi Puja/Deepawali/Ningol Chakkouba- Banks are closed in Sikkim, Manipur, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh on October 27 (Thursday).
Banks will be closed on 21 days in October 2022, spread across multiple states (but no bank will be closed for more than three / four days in the month), including the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays.
