Is today a bank holiday in Tamil Nadu?

Banks in Tamil Nadu will be closed for two days: on January 16 in celebration of Thiruvalluvar Day, and on January 17 in observation of Uzhavar Thirunal. On the other hand, with the exception of Sunday, all states will have banks open every day this week.
The RBI divides holidays into categories: Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday, Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, and Banks' Closing of Accounts.

Banks will also be closed on the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays. Meanwhile, banks across the nation will be closed on January 26, 2023 on the account Republic Day.
