CRIS said on X: “Thank you for being a valued customer of UTS mobile App. Services of your UTS App is now transferred to all new RailOne App. UTS App will be discontinued wef 01.03.2026. Please download RailOne App today to continue using services.”
What about your money in R-Wallet?
CRIS said on X that the R-Wallet’s money will be transferred to the RailOne app, but for using this money, you need to use the name number you registered with in UTS app in the RailOne app.CRIS said on X: “Important: Your R-Wallet amount will be transferred to RailOne. Please use the same Mobile Number as of UTS to register on RailOne.https://railone.indianrailways.gov.in. Use Help & Support section of App if you face any difficulty.”
Can I change the mobile number and still use the same R-Wallet balance?

RailOne app was launched in July 2025
Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw launched the new app, RailOne, on July 1, 2025 at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi on 40th Foundation Day of Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). According to a press release, RailOne app is a comprehensive, all-in-one application with a user-friendly interface. The app is available for download on Android Play Store and iOS App Store. It integrates all the passenger services such as:
● Unreserved UTS Tickets via R-Wallet to Get 3% Discount
● Live train tracking
● E-catering, porter booking & last-mile taxi
Reserved tickets will continue to be offered on IRCTC. RailOne app has also been authorised by IRCTC just like many other commercial apps who have partnered with IRCTC.
RailOne features a single-sign-on with login via mPIN or biometric. It also supports existing RailConnect & UTS credentials. The app is space-saving, as there is no need to install multiple apps.
According to the Indian Railways website, you can surrender your R-Wallet by the following steps:Use option “Profile” to see the Surrender Wallet option and confirm to “Surrender Wallet”. A code will be generated and sent on the registered mobile number.
Thereafter, you have to approach any UTS counter and provide your registered mobile no. as well as the code generated for refund. The balance in the R-Wallet will be refunded to you, after deducting the clerkage charge of Rs 30.
