How to raise complaints related to Aadhaar services?
Residents can file a complaint with the Aadhaar-experience new online complaint filing portal for any Aadhaar-related service.

It is essential to keep your Aadhar details up to date. UIDAI has suggested that residents who received their Aadhaar number ten years ago and have never updated their documentation in these years get their documents updated.
For any service related to Aadhaar, residents can raise a complaint with Aadhaar-Experience New Online Complaint Filing Portal. Residents can easily file complaints.

Step 1: Visit https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
Step 2: Click on ‘File a Complaint’
Step 3: Enter details such as Name, contact number, state etc,.
Step 4: Select ‘Type of Complaint’ from drop down
- Aadhaar letter/PVC status
- Authentication issue
- Enrolment related
- Operator/ Enrolment agency
- Portal/ application issue
- Update related
Step 6: Enter Captcha and click Next and Submit
Note the complaint number for further reference.
UIDAI has established a multi-channel grievance resolution mechanism for citizens' questions and complaints regarding Aadhaar enrollment, updation, and other services in order to address the issues. Residents can get in touch with UIDAI by phone, email, chat, or through the website.
Note, according to UIDAI, residents must always have their EID, URN, or SRN on hand for quick resolution of complaints.
How to lodge Aadhaar-related grievance through toll-free number
The UIDAI contact center's Toll-Free number is 1947, and it consists of the self-service IVRS and resident support executive-based assistance. It provides support in the 12 languages.
The following services are always available in self-service mode:
- Residents may change their status or check their enrolment.
- Residents who successfully generate Aadhaar can access their Aadhaar number using their EID (Post validation)
- Residents can check the status of their concerns by entering their complaint number.
A chatbot is accessible for quick automated responses about Aadhaar and its services on the UIDAI website (uidai.gov.in). On both the UIDAI website's home page and the Resident portal, it is clickable in the lower right corner. Residents can start a conversation with the chatbot by clicking the blue "Ask Aadhaar" icon. English and Hindi are both supported.
