How to get your PAN reprinted

The reprinted card will be sent to the communication address available in the database of the Income Tax department.
Permanent Account Number (PAN) is a mandatory document that needs to be provided for any financial transaction such as opening of bank accounts, making investments, transactions etc.

If the card is lost, defaced or misplaced, one can apply for a reprint of the card. This request can be made online using the following process.

Conditions

Reprint is possible only if there is no change in details of the card. This facility can be availed by the PAN card holders, whose latest PAN application was processed through NSDL e-Gov or had obtained PAN using ‘Instant e-PAN’ facility on e-filling portal of the Income Tax department.

Details
A request form needs to be filled with details like PAN number, Aadhaar number, date of birth etc. The applicant also needs to give consent to use Aadhaar details for the purpose of reprint of card. A captcha authentication needs to be keyed in to submit the form.

Charges
Reprint of the card involves charges for dispatch of the card to your address:
  • For dispatch within India: Rs 50
  • For dispatch outside India: Rs 959

The reprinted card will be sent to the communication address available in the database of the Income Tax department.

Point to note
  • If the latest PAN application was made on the UTIITSL website, application for reprint shall be made on the following link: https://www.myutiitsl. com/PAN_ONLINE/homereprint
  • Mobile number updated in the records and the PAN records should be identical. If not, a request needs to be made to make necessary changes.
