The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced the maximum costs that can be collected from residents for the services (update and other services) supplied by Registrars/other Service Providers, as well as assistance to Registrars for Aadhaar Generation & Mandatory Biometric Updates (5/15 years).

All the rates mentioned above are inclusive of GST.
Beginning on November 1, 2022, support to Registrars in this category will be available.


From a new born to a senior citizen, everyone can enrol for Aadhaar.

How will children be captured in the database?
According to the Uidai FAQ, “For children below 5 years no biometrics will be captured. Their UID be processed on the basis of demographic information and facial photograph linked with the UID of their parents. These children will need to update their biometrics of ten fingers, iris and facial photograph, when they turn 5 and 15. Intimation to this effect will be mentioned in the original Aadhaar letter.”

How to register online for kids' Aadhaar
Step 1: Visit UIDAI's official website and register for a Baal Aadhaar Card online.
Step 2: Go to the Aadhar Card registration page and click on it.
Step 3: Fill in all of the required information, such as the child's name, parent's phone number, and e-mail address.
Step 4: After entering all of the personal information, fill in all of the demographic information.
Step 5: Click on the Fix Appointment tab to continue. Now is the time to set a date for registering for an Aadhar card.
Step 6: The applicant can proceed with the enrolling process by selecting the nearest enrollment centre.
Step 7: Visit the nearest Aadhaar Card Enrollment Center.

Step 8: Submit the form along with a birth certificate and aadhaar card of parent.
Step 9: The parent's Aadhaar card information and mobile number must be provided.
Step 10: Following the verification process, the child's photograph will be taken
