How a family pensioner can submit video life certificate

The State Bank of India (SBI) last year had started the video life certificate facility to pensioners. Pensioners will be able to use this tool to submit their life certificates remotely through video from their residences and the process is free of charge and paperless.
Now even family pensioners can avail the services via the SBI Pension Seva Mobile App or website.

Requirements of submission of Video Life Certificate
A pensioner must use Smartphone / Tablet / Laptop / PC (with Web camera & Headphones) with stable internet connectivity for live interaction with SBI Official.

• Pan Card mandatory.
• Adequate ambience and lighting

Who are eligible for Video Life Certificate?
All public pensioners whose pension is processed and paid by State Bank of India (SBI).

• Who is currently residing inside geographical territory of India.
• Whose Aadhaar seeding has been done for the Pension Account.
• Whose Life Certificate has been submitted for the previous year.

How to submit Video Life Certificate
Step 1: Go to https://www.pensionseva.sbi/ or download the PensionSeva App
Step 2: Login and click on ‘ Video LC’ to initiate process
Step 3: Enter SBI pension Account number and enter the OTP received
Step 4: Add applicable certificates
Step 5: Read and accept the terms and conditions and click on ‘Start Journey’
Step 6: Keep the original PAN card ready and click on ‘ I am ready’
Step 7: Grant permission to start video call
Step 8: Your interaction will start as soon as an SBI official is available. Alternatively, you can schedule the interaction as per your convenience.
Step 9: SBI official asks you to read out 4 digit verification code on your screen
Step 10: Your PAN card will be captured by the official along with your picture
When the Pensioner reaches the end of the session, he or she will be shown the information has been recorded message. The pensioner will receive an SMS to their registered mobile phone informing them of the status.
