As the EPFO has been carrying out its portal upgrade for a few days, several online EPFO services are temporarily unavailable. These services include filing Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) claims through both the EPFO portal and the UMANG app.

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) had announced that its member portal, employer portal and UMANG app services will be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled system migration from June 26 to 30, 2026. This upgrade is aimed at providing faster, reliable, and secured services to its stakeholders, said EPFO in a statement on its official website.

The UMANG App (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is an official government platform that allows users to easily access Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) services on their smartphones without needing to visit an EPFO office.

Many EPFO services remain temporarily unavailable on the Umang app during the maintenance period.

Users can use the UMANG app to check their PF balance, raise claim, apply for a scheme certificate or a UAN, seed UAN with Aadhaar, check claim status, search for establishment, view EPFO office address, register grievance and apply for the Jeevan Pramaan certificate.
