EPFO members were expected to receive 8.25% interest on their EPF contributions for FY 2025-26 on July 15, 2026. Union Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya recently said the EPFO would process interest for about 34 crore member accounts, and many subscribers would be able to see their updated PF balance by July 15. The Finance Ministry has also approved the 8.25% EPF interest rate for FY 2025-26.

Once credited by the EPFO, the interest will reflect in your EPF balance. Subscribers can check their balance through:
● UMANG app
● EPFO Member e-Sewa portal
● Missed call service
● SMS service
● Passbook Lite on the EPFO Member Passbook portal for a quick account summary.

Visit the EPFO Member Passbook portal and log in using your UAN, password and captcha. Verify the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, click 'View', and select 'Passbook Lite' to see your recent EPF contributions, withdrawals and updated balance.

    Download the UMANG app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and log in using your UAN. Once your account is linked, you can view your PF balance, track contributions, raise claims, and check pension account transactions for the last three months. A detailed account statement can also be downloaded as a PDF.

    Will you lose EPF interest if the credit is delayed?
    No. Under Paragraph 60 of the EPF Scheme, 1952, interest is calculated on the monthly running balance, even if it is credited later. Therefore, subscribers do not lose any interest if there is a delay in the credit of EPF interest.
