Eid Bank Holiday: Banks in some states will be closed on Thursday on the occasion of Ramzan-Id (Id-Ul-Fitr), according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday list. The crescent moon was not spotted in Delhi, Hyderabad, and Lucknow on April 9...

Note that the commencement of Eid al-Fitr hinges on the sighting of the crescent moon, symbolizing the onset of the month of Shawwal, which is the 10th month in the Islamic (Hijri) calendar. Given that lunar months typically span between 29 to 30 days, Muslims often await confirmation of the Eid's date until the evening preceding its arrival.
The crescent moon was not spotted in Delhi, Hyderabad, and Lucknow. Hence, Eid celebrations will be held on April 11. In Kerala, Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir, where the crescent was sighted tonight on April 9, due to this these states will celebrate Eid today (April 10) together with the Muslims in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, USA, United Kingdom and other countries in the Middle East and West.
