Holidays on March 2, 3 & 7 at Delhi High Court: HC sitting schedule revised
The Delhi High Court has announced its holiday and court sitting schedule for March and April 2026. Several court holidays have been declared. To compensate, specific Saturdays will now be working days.

Alternative court sitting days announced
To compensate for the holidays declared on March 2 and March 3, the Delhi High Court has designated Saturday, March 28, 2026, and Saturday, April 25, 2026, respectively, as court sitting days. These dates will function as regular working days to ensure that judicial work is not disrupted.Notification stated: “The cases fixed for Monday, the 2nd of March 2026, Tuesday, the 3rd of March 2026, and Saturday, the 7th of March 2026, in this Court will be taken up on Saturday, the 28th of March 2026; Saturday, the 25th of April, 2026, and Monday, the 9th of March 2026, respectively.”

Revised hearing dates for listed cases
The High Court has also revised the hearing dates for cases that were originally scheduled on the newly declared holidays:Cases listed for Monday, March 2, 2026, will now be taken up on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Cases listed for Tuesday, March 3, 2026, will be heard on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Cases fixed for Saturday, March 7, 2026, will be taken up on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Subordinate courts to remain closed on March 2 and 3
The notification also applies to courts subordinate to the Delhi High Court. These courts will remain closed on March 2 and March 3, 2026.Revised working Saturdays for subordinate courts
