Holi 2022 bank holiday: Banks will be closed for 3 days this week in these states
Due to Holi and the weekend that follows, banks in some parts of the country will be closed for up to 3 days. In several states, bank holiday will be on March 17 and 18 2022 for Holika Dahan and Holi, respectively.

Banks are closed on March 17, 2022 (Thursday), in some states on the occasion of Holika Dahan. Banks will remain closed in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand.
Banks will be closed on March 18 (Friday) in Gujarat, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Assam, Telangana, Rajasthan, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, New Delhi, Goa, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Banks will be closed due to Holi.
On March 19, 2022, the second day of Holi/Yaosang, banks will be shut in Orissa, Manipur, Bihar.
Banks are also closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, as well as all Sundays. As a result, all banks in India will be closed on March 20 (i.e., Sunday).
