What is Ratha Yatra?

Rath Yatra, meaning chariot festival, is a grand Hindu festival where deities are paraded through the streets on massive wooden chariots. It is most famously celebrated in Puri, Odisha, drawing millions who gather to pull the chariots of Lord Jagannath, his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra.

Harela festival

Harela is a vibrant Hindu agricultural and environmental festival celebrated primarily in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand and parts of Himachal Pradesh to welcome the monsoon and the sowing season.
