Public sector banks and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) are scheduled to remain open on Sunday, September 27, as per the RBI’s instructions The decision has been taken ahead of the proposed three-day bank strike so that customers get an additional day to complete important banking work. The three-day bank strike is scheduled for September 28-30.However, private banks are not part of the strike and they are likely to stay closed on Sunday unless they get separate instructions to stay open.

State Bank of India has issued an advisory to customers regarding the proposed strike. SBI has said that its branches would remain open on September 27, while also cautioning customers that some services could be affected during the strike period.SBI asks customers to use digital banking
SBI has advised customers to use Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Automated Deposit-cum-Withdrawal Machines (ADWMs) for cash requirements during the period.Customers can also use YONO, internet banking, mobile banking and the UPI, wherever possible, for their regular banking requirements. These channels can help customers make payments and carry out other transactions without visiting a branch.
SBI has said it would make efforts to provide essential banking services, but some branch services may be affected during the strike.
