The Staff Side of the National Council (NC-JCM) has put forward a wide range of demands for the 8th Pay Commission (8th CPC), covering salary revisions, pensions, leave, medical facilities, career growth and employee welfare. The proposal seeks a significant increase in pay and allowances, improved benefits for pensioners and greater support for employees and their families. Minimum basic pay of Rs 69,000
Fitment factor of 3.833
Annual increment of 6%
Two additional increments on promotion with a minimum benefit of Rs 10,000
Bonus of at least 30 days on actual basic pay and DA
Merger of various pay levels
Risk allowance increased to Rs 10,000 per month
Night duty allowance linked to actual basic pay
Three-fold increase in all allowances
Dress allowance for all employees
