8th CPC meeting schedule for May, June: 8th Pay Commission set to meet Railway, Defence employee, pensioner bodies in Delhi

The 8th Pay Commission has started holding meetings with employee unions, pensioner bodies and other stakeholders in different parts of the country. In the same series, 8th Pay Commission officials are set to hold meetings with Delhi-based Railway and Defence employee and pensioner bodies in the Capital next week. In the meetings, such bodies present their suggestions related to pay revision, pension benefits, allowances, fitment factor and service conditions of central government employees. Bodies seeking a meeting with the 8th Pay Commission first need to submit their memorandum and then apply for a meeting through the official portal of the 8th CPC.

In a statement posted on its official website, the 8th Pay Commission says it will hold meetings with Railways and Defence employee and pensioner bodies in New Delhi on May 13 and 14, 2026.

The 8th CPC will visit Hyderabad, Telangana, on May 18 and 19, 2026 (Monday and Tuesday). Stakeholders interested in interacting with the Commission must submit their memorandum on the 8th CPC’s official website and seek an appointment before May 8, 2026, along with the unique memo ID generated after the memorandum submission, says the 8th Pay Commission in a statement dated May 1, 2026.

The Commission will visit Srinagar and Jammu & Kashmir (UT) from June 1 to June 4, 2026 (Monday to Thursday). Organisations, institutions and unions/associations wishing to interact with the Commission in Srinagar must submit their memorandum and send an appointment request before May 16, 2026, says a 8th CPC statement dated May 1, 2026.

The Commission will hold separate meetings at cities in other states/UTs in due course.

The 8th CPC will visit the Union Territory of Ladakh on June 8, 2026 (Monday), reads a statement dated May 1, 2026. Concerned stakeholders from central government organisations/institutions and Ladakh-based unions/associations can submit memorandums and seek appointments before May 16, 2026.

The deadline for submitting responses has been extended from April 30, 2026, to Sunday, May 31, 2026.

“All entries must be made solely through the URL provided. The Commission does not evaluate or entertain paper-based memoranda, hard copies, pdfs, or emails with the memorandum,” says a statement from the 8th Pay Commission.

The memorandum mentions pay, pension, allowance, fitment factor-related demands of an employee or a pensioner body. It also has information about work conditions of employees.
