5 things PM Kisan beneficiaries should keep handy to avail 14th installment amount

The beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana must complete their eKYC in order to receive the benefits of the 14th instalment of the scheme. The beneficiary can confirm his or her own eKYC by using the OTP that will be sent to the Aadhaar-linked mobile number on the PM-Kisan portal.


Beneficary can also do eKYC by downloading the PMKISAN GOI App from the Google Play Store and attaching it to his or her Aadhaar mobile number using face authentication. After logging in using the received OTP, you can do e-KYC for yourself and 10 other beneficiaries or you can do it through the biometric method from your nearest CSC / Vasudha center.


According to the Bihar government’s agriculture department website, “ Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the beneficiaries who have been declared ineligible by the Government of India for paying income tax or for other reasons, have to compulsorily return the amount received so far under the scheme by the farmer to the Government of India.”

On February 27, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed the 13th installment of the PM KISAN program.

Beneficiary farmers can keep these 5 things handy to receive the 14th installment of PM Kisan without any hinderance.

1. Keep your bank account linked with Aadhaar card
2. Check your Aadhaar seeding with bank account status
3. https://resident.uidai.gov.in/bank-mapper
4. Keep your DBT option enabled in Aadhaar seeded bank account
5. Complete your eKYC

Check your Aadhaar seeding status under ‘Know your status’ module in the PM kisan portal.
Also, Farmers can now check status of their PM-Kisan application with a simple Phone Call to 155261.
Note that Aadhaar seeding is necessitated for receiving Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT) provided by various Government schemes.

PM Kisan: How to update eKYC online

Step 1: Visit official website of PM-Kisan https://pmkisan.gov.in/
2: Click on eKYC option under ‘Farmer’s Section’.
Step 3: Enter Aadhaar card number, captcha code and click on search
Step 4: Enter the mobile number linked with the Aadhaar card
Step 5: Click on 'Get OTP' and enter the OTP in the specified field

How to update eKYC offline at CSC

Step 1: Visit your nearest CSC Center.
Step 2: Submit Aadhar Update in PM Kisan Account
Step 3: Enter your biometrics to login
Step 4: Update Aadhar Card Number and Submit the form.
Your phone will now display Confirmation as an SMS.
