Get UAE’s golden visa for a lifetime for less than the cost of a Mercedes-Benz!

Indians can now get their hands on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) coveted golden visa, all thanks to a new nomination-based visa policy, just by paying a one-time fee. Indians will no longer be required to hold any investments or property in the region to get the visa. Previously, Indians had to have a minimum of Rs 4.66 crore, or AED 2 million, in property investments to get it.

Under this new system, applicants can be nominated for this visa depending on their profession, area of expertise, which will be further evaluated on how they can be potentially beneficial and contribute to the UAE’s economy, particularly in areas of culture, trade, science, finance or startups. In its pilot phase, residents from India and Bangladesh are eligible to apply.

There is a one-time fee of around Rs 23.3 lakh, or AED 100,000, to apply for a golden visa under this new category. This is valid for a lifetime and offers a permanent visa to the UAE, according to available sources. However, note that one of the key features of a golden visa is that it is available for a period of 5 or 10 years, and is renewable.

UAE’s golden visa allows the individual to get a renewable residency visa for a period of 5 or 10 years, without the need for a local sponsor. Individuals with golden visa are also able to stay outside of the UAE for more than 6 months, without losing their residency status. They can also sponsor an unlimited number of domestic support staff members and family members, irrespective of their age. Moreover, family members can continue to reside in UAE even after the demise of primary visa holder.

Applicants will have to undergo anti-money laundering, criminal background, and social media checks before their application is approved. Note that the final decision to grant your visa will rest with UAE authorities. With this visa, you can also obtain a driver’s license without completing mandatory courses.
