World class retail and commercial plaza Aitorma Agartala Sentrum all set for launch in December 2012

KOLKATA: Construction and infrastructure development company Shristi is developing a world class retail and commercial plaza in Agartala - Aitorma Agartala Sentrum. The project, a joint venture between Tripura State Co-operative Consumer's Federation and Shristi, offers retail and commercial facilities coupled with world-class amenities in town.

Spread over 100,000 square feet (sq.ft.), Aitorma Agartala Sentrum will have a 7-storey fully air-conditioned plaza comprising of three floors for retail and two for offices. Top two floors will be set aside for hotel and commercial. It is expected to be operational by the end of this year.

Several brands are going to set up shop in Aitorma for commercial prospects. Spaces have been leased out to brands like Metro Baazar, Hoffman and Titan. Metro Baazar will be the mini-anchor store of the plaza. Some space has also been purchased by franchisees who will rope in lifestyle brands like Reid & Taylor, Belmonte, Puma, Mobile Store, V2 and Cafe Coffee Day.

"These brands in the plaza will for sure, garner a large footfall in future. The place comes with a commitment to become the most happening hang-out zone in the town. Already 10 units for the jewellery zone have been sold out. Banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, education institutes are in the process of negotiation with us to take up spaces in the commercial units," added Rahul Verma, director, Tripura State Co-operative Consumer's Federation.
