UP General Provident Fund subscribers can access annual A/C statement online

NEW DELHI: Over 2.5 lakh General Provident Fund (GPF) subscribers in Uttar Pradesh can now obtain a copy of their annual account statement electronically.

"The GPF subscribers in the state of UP can now obtain a copy of their GPF annual account statement/slips on a click," an official release said today.

"With this, the GPF subscribers would be able to access their account statement slip for 2014-15. The subscribers can view their account statement by entering their date of birth or PIN and account number," it said.

The office of Accountant General (AG), Allahabad maintains these GPF accounts.

This step would facilitate the availability of GPF account slips to GPF subscribers while reducing their dependency on the AG office, the release added.

The AG office is also planning to make the GPF account slips for previous years online. Account details can be accessed through the official website at www.agup.nic.in.
