Transport, energy and water sanitation in insurers' infrastructure list

MUMBAI: The insurance regulator has widened the investment scope for life insurers in the infrastructure sector.

The Insurance Advisory Committee on Friday met to broaden the definition of infrastructure to include businesses such as transport, energy, water sanitation, communication and social and commercial infrastructure.
