Snapdeal launches home buying sale from Oct 5, offers 10% discount among other freebies

NEW DELHI: Online marketplace Snapdeal on Tuesday announced the second edition of home Diwali sale, offering 10% discount on base price, among other offers, starting October 5 to October 21.

The home buying sale will offer homes ranging from 1 BHK to 4 BHK, with prices ranging between Rs 30 lakh and Rs 5 crore, the company said in a statement.

The sale will feature projects from real estate developers including Prestige Group, Purvankara, Kolte Patil Developers, Provident Housing, Panchsheel Group, Sreejan Realty, Rohan Lifescapes, Sikka Group, among others. The apartments on sale are available in Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Jaipur.

Some of the offers available in the Snadpeal sale include home loans from State Bank of India at the lowest interest rate, 10% discount on base selling price, 25:75 payment offer and discounts up to Rs 6 lakh.

Other freebies on offer from developers include cars, iPhones 6s handsets, iPads, gold coins and more.

This is the second edition of real estate Diwali sale, after the company sold nearly 150 homes in seven days last year, Snapdeal said.

Snapdeal had launched its real estate category in August 2014 with the sale of flats from Tata Value Homes.

Another property portal Magicbricks.com had also recently announced the launch of the second season of Dream Home Festival starting October 3 till October 23.
