Saturday bank holiday: The second and fourth Saturdays will see the closure of banks, including both scheduled and non-scheduled ones, in accordance with the guidelines established by the Reserve Bank of India.

Banks, both scheduled and non-scheduled, will be closed on the second and fourth Saturdays as per the guidelines set by the Reserve Bank of India.
Banks will be closed this Saturday, October 12, 2024, as it's the second Saturday of the month. Also, please note that some states will observe a holiday on Thursday and Friday, October 10 and 11, for the Dussehra festival.
On the occasion of Dussehra, banks will be closed on different days depending on the state. In some states, banks will be closed for four consecutive days to celebrate festivals like Dussehra.
October 14- Durga Puja (Dasain)- - Banks are closed in Sikkim.

Lakshmi Puja- October 16- Banks are closed in Tripura and Bengal.
Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti/Kati Bihu- October 17-Banks are closed in Karnataka, Assam, Himachal Pradesh.
