CHENNAI: Buoyed by consistent growth in last eight years, real estate developer Casa Grande is aiming to become a 1,000-crore company by 2016 by developing several properties across the region, a top company official said.

The Chennai-based company reported revenues of Rs 130.09 crore last year and hopes to mop up revenues of Rs 240 crore this financial year, Casa Grande Pvt Ltd, Managing Director, M Arun Kumar said.

"We are looking at a sizable growth. We want to be a Rs 1,000 crore company in the year 2016", he told reporters.

Stating the company has a land bank of about 130 acres, he said, "We have Rs 750 crore worth of projects in pipeline. We project Rs 450 crore worth of sales this year".

Apart from Chennai, the company had also expanded its presence in Bangalore,Coimbatore, he said.

Casa Grande Private Limited was launched eight years ago through investments from private equity partner, Fulcrum Ventures, he said.
