Poly Auction Hong Kong 2013 to be held from October 5

KOLKATA: Poly Auction Hong Kong 2013 Autumn Auctions will be held in Hong Kong from October 5 to 7. The Autumn Auctions will include 6 categories, namely Chinese Modern and Contemporary Art, Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings, Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art, Jewels and Watches.

Poly Auction Hong Kong will also present its inaugural ""Chinese Art Important Sale"", featuring an impeccable collection of Chinese art works from 5 categories for global collectors in the Autumn Auctions. Selected highlights will be showcased in travelling exhibitions in Shanghai (4-5 September), Beijing (7-8 September) and Taipei (21-22 September), followed by a public preview of all the lots on offer at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong from 2 to 7 October.

From 18-27 September 2013, Poly Gallery will present ""Philosophical Interpretations of Painting - the Special Exhibition of Contemporary Gongbi Painting in Hong Kong"". This exhibition showcases the works of contemporary ink masters as well as emerging artists from Mainland China; some of the exhibits will be under hammer at the auction of Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings of Poly Auction Hong Kong and Contemporary Ink Paintings Evening Sale of Poly Auction Beijing this year.
