Oriental Insurance opens first service centre in Mumbai

The centre was inaugurated by the company's chairman-cum-managing director, M Ramadoss.

MUMBAI: Oriental Insurance Company, on Thursday said that it has opened its first service centre in the metropolis.

The centre was inaugurated by the company's chairman-cum-managing director, M Ramadoss, a press release issued here said.

"The service centre will help in speedy settlement of claims which is a major steps towards customer satisfaction," Ramadoss said.

The centre will initially handle motor claims for offices in Mumbai.

In due course, the centre would take care of other back-office operations like policy issuance, third party claims and others.

The company already has centres functioning at Hyderabad, Jaipur and Patna.
