NEW DELHI: Delhi government, along with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, on Monday launched a rebranded common mobility card called ‘ONE’. The card, with the tagline ‘One Delhi, One Ride,’ was launched by transport minister Kailash Gahlot at the Rajghat Bus Depot.

These cards can be used to pay the fares for Delhi Metro and buses operated by DTC and cluster scheme. Gahlot, along with DMRC MD Mangu Singh, transport commissioner Varsha Joshi, DTC MD Manoj Kumar and Dialogue and Development Commission vice-chairperson Jasmine Shah, launched the service from Monday.

“With the launch of common mobility card in August, extending the 10% discount of fares on usage of card in buses, and the re-branding of the metro card as ONE card, we wish to tell Delhiites that their government is committed to providing them a seamless, high-quality travel experience in the city’s public transport system,” Gahlot said.

The ONE card will be available for sale starting Tuesday at all metro stations and DTC pass counters. The existing Delhi Metro smart cards will continue to stay valid but any new card or replacement will be through the ONE card.
