NRI market, the best bet for real estate developers

COIMBATORE: With real estate seen as one of the best investment opportunities by NRIs, IndiaProperty.com is organising a two-day property exhibition for the interested buyers in Singapore from August 23.

The expo would showcase over 100 projects from leading builders in India, as tier II cities like Kochi, Pune and Coimbatore were becoming the preferred grounds for NRI, T.Shrikanth, National Head-sales and operations of the company told reporters here today.

The portal intended to create a medium of builders who were budget restrained, but wanted to interact directly with the prospective NRI buyers, Shrikanth said, adding there would be builders showcasing their projects from areas which would dovetail to the choices of Singapore NRIs.

The show would also feature top financial institutions from India for easy solutions to property buying, he said.
The property show, which was held in Dubai a couple of years ago, saw a transaction of property investments worth rs.250 crore by NRIs, featuring over 100 properties from all parts of India.
