Nitin Rao joins as CEO of Reliance Wealth Management

Mr. Rao joins Reliance Wealth Management after 19 years at HDFC Bank, where he was Executive Vice President – Private Banking Group & Third Party Products.

Reliance Wealth Management Ltd., a subsidiary of Reliance Capital Ltd., announced the appointment of Nitin Rao as its new Chief Executive Officer. In this newly created role, Mr. Rao will report to Anmol Ambani, Executive Director at Reliance Capital, and will be responsible for driving a more broad-based strategy for growing the wealth management offering to high net worth individuals.

Mr. Rao joins Reliance Wealth Management after 19 years at HDFC Bank, where he was Executive Vice President – Private Banking Group & Third Party Products, and had built its wealth business ground up into a significantly dominant leadership position.

Mr. Rao has had a multidisciplinary career of 28 years across equity research, product management, distribution of investment products and managing high net worth banking programmes. He is an engineer from the College of Engineering, Pune and holds a Post Graduate degree in Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.
