Infrastructure & real estate development company Marg Constructions on Thursday unveiled plans for aggressive expansion.

MUMBAI: Infrastructure & real estate development company Marg Constructions on Thursday unveiled plans for aggressive expansion. Speaking at a media roundtable, GRK Reddy, chairman & MD, Marg Constructions, said: “The company would look at developing seaports and allied logistics businesses, along with new industrial clusters in SEZs, commercial real estate including technology hubs, destination malls and serviced apartments.”

On the anvil is a foray into the affordable housing market in South India, he added. Marg had announced the launch of its centre of excellence for infrastructure through a tie-up with the Great Lakes Institute of Management. It’ll invest Rs 3 crore for its Chennai centre.

Moreover, it has forged an alliance with Malaysia-based Pembinaan Redzai Sdn Bhd, to explore potential co-operation for its Karaikal Port project, the company said in a statement. Its other plans include developing malls, serviced apartments and IT parks in south India.
