L&T bags contract to develop Sunteck Realty's residential project

MUMBAI: Engineering firm Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has bagged a contract from Sunteck Realty to develop the first phase of its residential project ' Sunteck City' in Goregaon.

The project, spread across 23 acres, includes 6 million sqft of mixed used development that will be launched in multiple phases, Sunteck said in a statement.

"L&T has commenced construction activity on Avenue 1, which includes around 400 apartments and is spread over one million sqft of built up area," Sunteck said in a statement.

"In our continuous endeavour to deliver quality construction and to ensure timely delivery, the appointment of L&T is well timed to ensure that we stay true to our vision of achieving operational excellence," company's Chairman and Managing Director Kamal Khetan said.

The company may even extend the association to the other Avenues being launched at Sunteck City, he said.
