Kotak Mahindra Bank has sent an email to its customers stating that Kotak Bank Debit/Spendz card services will be unavailable for a few hours. As per the email, certain debit card services will be unavailable on May 15, 2022, from 0:00 AM to 2:30 AM (IST) and from 3:30 AM to 6:00 AM (IST).

During this downtime, the following services will be unavailable to Kotak Mahindra Bank debit/spendz card customers:
  • ATM
  • POS
  • ECOM
  • QR
  • Payment tokenization
  • Cardless cash withdrawal
  • PIN authentication
  • PIN generation
  • Blocking & unblocking of cards
  • Card controls - Transaction amount limit modification & Activation or deactivation
As per the email sent by the bank, “Dear Customer, We would like to inform you that the Bank systems will be undergoing a maintenance activity in two tranches on May 15, 2022, from 00.00 AM to 02.30 AM (IST) & from 03.30 AM to 06.00 AM (IST).”
