THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance on Friday opened its new branch office here, taking the number to five in the state.
"The company's aim is to make deeper inroads to harness the true potential of the state," company Executive Director (Sales and Distribution) Pankaj Desai said.
"We have identified five specific markets for expansion which include Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra and Kerala," he said.
The company has around 25,000 active life advisers and plan were underway to increase this to around 40,000 in the current financial year, he said.
Other branches are in Kochi, Kottayam, Thrissur and Kozhikode.
