IT department unearths Rs 2.7 crore concealed income of firm

Income Tax officials claimed to have unearthed documents relating to concealed income of a firm worth Rs 2.7 crore.

JAIPUR: Income Tax officials here claimed to have unearthed documents relating to concealed income of a firm worth Rs 2.7 crore.

"The officials, during a survey of the firm found that it had not submitted advance tax as per the rules. Moreover, the firm owner dedicated cheques amounting to Rs 1.4 crore for taxation," an official release said today.

The survey conducted at an aluminium wire manufacturing firm was directed by Chief Income Tax Commissioner Jaipur B S Dhillon and led by Income Tax officer C P Sharma.
