Income-Tax raids at Lion Dates' premises

CHENNAI: Income-Tax sleuths today conducted raids at the premises of Lion Dates Impex Pvt Ltd in Tamil Nadu over alleged tax evasion, police said.

The raids were conducted at seven to eight premises of the company in Tiruchirapalli and in Chennai, they said.

The Thiruchirappalli-based company sells dates, jam, honey and oats under the brand Lion.
