ICICI Lombard launches 'Health Advantage Plus'
Private sector general insurer ICICI Lombard General Insurance today unveiled a tax saving plan 'Health Advantage Plus' covering OPD and Dental expenses.

NEW DELHI: Private sector general insurer ICICI Lombard General Insurance today unveiled a tax saving plan 'Health Advantage Plus' covering OPD and Dental expenses.
Available in two options, the policy would cover pre-existing diseases after two years of continuous renewal, ICICI Lombard General Insurance said in a release.
Besides, the policy increased the age limit for health check-up to 56 years, it said.
ICICI Lombard General Insurance Head (marketing) Kartik Jain said, "our research indicates that customers want to cover other medical expenses such as OPD and Dental and are also looking at taking full advantage of the increased tax limits under Section 80D."
The policy addresses these requirements along with providing the basic hospitalisation cover through over 4,000 hospitals across the country, he said.
While the sum insured under cover A is Rs 2 lakh or Rs 3 lakh, as per the plan opted, the benefits under cover B vary from Rs 2,000 to Rs 10,000 depending on the plan opted and the policy holder age profile, the release said.
The policy would be available to person above 18 years and age of entry for senior most members is 65 years, it said adding floater facility is for two individuals with a single premium and sum insured.
ICICI Lombard is a 74:26 joint venture between ICICI Bank and Cananda-based Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd.
