ICICI Lombard introduces 'Complete Health Insurance'

NEW DELHI: ICICI Lombard General Insurance has launched a flexible health insurance product with no restriction on maximum entry age.

The product called 'Complete Health Insurance' has been designed to meet the health insurance requirements of the customer and the complete family, ICICI Lombard Managing Director Bhargav Dasgupta said.

The policy comes with lifetime renewal with no restriction on maximum entry age, he said.

Besides, features such as a wide range of sum insured from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 50 lakh, OPD coverage and maternity benefits will be useful in meeting the consumers' health insurance requirements, he added.

Speaking about other features he said, the customer has a choice of opting critical illness cover for specified critical illnesses or medical procedures. A lumpsum amount is paid on the diagnosis of the critical illness.

In the event of hospitalisation exceeding 5 days, the cost of economy class air ticket up to Rs 20,000 for the travel of immediate family member is reimbursed, he added.

The plan is available for a tenure of 1 or 2 years, for both individual as well as family floater plans basis.
