A ICICI Lombard study finds multiple devices are being used by Indians to book and plan travel abroad.

Most travellers headed west
Europe and America were preferred destinations.
55% of the respondents had travelled to Europe and America in the last four years on holiday.
37% had holidayed within Asia.
21% had chosen Africa.
15% had travelled to Oceania.

Cards preferred while paying
Credit card used more than debit cards.
40% paid for their trip online using credit cards.
18% used their debit cards.
6% used their mobile wallets.

Bookings done online
More than half (55%) of respondents had used PCs to search for information and make bookings.

WiFi hotspots sought out
While abroad, respondents accessed Internet using WiFi hotspot and Matrix card on mobiles.
