Hero Group to set up real estate project in Ludhiana

LUDHIANA: Hero Group today announced its entry into Punjab's real estate industry with its value housing brand -- Hero Homes.

The company will set up a housing project, spread over 16.48 acres of land on Sidhwan canal road, here in the industrial town of Punjab.

"As a group we venture into only those projects that at least one of us in the senior management is really passionate about," said Sunil Kant Munjal, Joint Managing Director, Hero Moto Corp Ltd and Chairman of Hero Corporate Service Ltd -- parent company of Hero Realty Ltd said here while addressing media.

"There are both emotional and strategic reasons for doing this (housing project) in Ludhiana, a city we consider our home town," he said.

The project aims to provide feature rich, value housing to younger generations of India, he said.
