HDIL plans 70 acre cyber-city in Kochi; to invest Rs 2,000 cr

Housing Development and Infrastructure has planned a 70 acre cyber-city at Kalamaserry, Kochi. The project will be executed by its subsidiary, Blue Star Realtors.

MUMBAI: Housing Development and Infrastructure has planned a 70 acre cyber-city at Kalamaserry, Kochi. The project will be executed by its subsidiary, Blue Star Realtors.

HDIL will invest Rs 2,000 crore in this project over four years.

HDIL Cybercity will be Kerala's first integrated IT township, having, besides IT/ITES, residential apartments, villas, schools, shopping malls, multiplex, club house, service apartments and Star Hotel.

Besides providing 60,000 direct and 1,50,000 indirect jobs to the people of Kochi, the project will also generate over Rs 425 crore of revenue for the government of Kerala by way of stamp and registration duty and employee welfare and village tax.

At 10:48 am, HDIL shares were down 0.93 at Rs 1,381 on BSE.
