HC stays allotment of flats in Supertech's luxury project in Gr Noida
The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday stayed allotment of flats in Supertech Czar Suites luxury project in Greater Noida on allegations that the builder constructed flats without proper approvals.

The court has asked the builder not to give possession of any flat in question in the project being developed in Sector Omnicon 1 of Greater Noida to buyers. In case the possession have already been given, it will be subject to the outcome of the writ petition.

The court has also directed the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority ( GNIDA) not to issue the certificate of completion to the builder and take action in accordance with law.

A bench comprising chief justice DB Bhosale and justice Yashwant Varma passed the stay order after nine flat buyers alleged that the builder constructed 1,904 flats in the place of 844 flats permitted as per the original sanction granted by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) in 2007.

The buyers allege the builder applied for a revised sanction afterwards just to legalise the illegal construction.

The next date of hearing in the matter has been fixed for February 8.
