Godrej Properties announces residential township project in Pune

PUNE: Godrej Properties, the real estate development arm of the Godrej Group has announced a new residential township project in Pune, Godrej Prana. To be spread over 31 acres in Undri on the outskirts of the city, the first phase will have a total saleable area of about 65,000 sq. mt. (7.0 lakh sq. ft.).

Pirojsha Godrej, Managing Director & CEO, Godrej Properties, said, "We are happy to launch Godrej Prana, our ninth project in Pune. Over the years, GPL has built several landmark projects across the city and Pune remains a very important city for our growth. We look forward to delivering an outstanding project to all our customers at Godrej Prana."

The stock price of the company was up 1.53 per cent at Rs 299 following the news of the launch. Godrej Properties is currently developing residential, commercial and township projects spread across 10.25 million square meters (110.30 million square feet) in 12 cities.
