MUMBAI: In the wake of recent rise in disputed claims in the insurance industry ��� click2insure.in ��� a web portal launched by Optima Insurance brokers���, has introduced a service for the insured, wherein you can now avail of free expert advice from the specialists in the business. These specialists have over 150 man years of insurance experience and have settled thousands of claims satisfactorily, the web portal said in a statement.
This service is available to all customers, irrespective of who they have bought the policy from, and it offers its consulting expertise across 21 life and 20 general insurers, the online insurance portal added.
To avail this service, you have to log on to the website and provide all the relevant details of the problem. The web portal claims that specialists will revert within 3 working days with their opinion on the query and design a probable solution as well if needed.
This claims advisory service comes free of cost. The online portal through this initiative aims to prove that claims, if filed correctly, can be settled easily.
There is also an option of a paid component for those who wish to engage the site���s insurance advisors as their agents to settle their claims. For the retail customers, this service is available for Rs 249/ claim while for the corporate customers, it is available for Rs 999/ claim.
The claims consulting is completely free while the claims processing is available to the insured at a fee, the online portal clarifies.
