Expedite completion certificate handover, says Greater Noida authority
A 10-member team of officials has been asked to expedite issuance of completion for 13,000 residential units and hand them over by Diwali this year.

The aim of the team is to expedite issuance of completion for 13,000 residential units and hand over the units to buyers by Diwali this year.
According to GNIDA officials, the team consists of officials from different departments in the Authority and are being led by Janardan, additional CEO, GNIDA.
"First we will take up four builder projects of the 28. We expect the report of inspections of these housing units, which total to about 2,600, by next week," said Debashish Panda, CEO, GNIDA, adding, "The remaning 24 projects will be addressed subsequently."
The CEO also said the team of officials will visit each and every group housing project on the list. "They will check whether all is in place and whether building norms and sanction plans are being followed and promises made by builder are being kept. If the team finds any shortfall in requirements they will be completed and completion certificates issued thereafter so that there is no more delay in handing over possession of homes," Panda added. "We plan to issue about 13,000 completion certificates by September and definitely by Diwali in October."
Meanwhile, GNIDA officials also met several builders on Friday to urge them to pay up under the state government's Project Settlement Policy (PSP).
